dim sum

today went for dim sum buffet...my sister treat...hehez...the restaurant is called "Teahouse at China Square"...one of the Tung Lok chain of restaurants...went in...took a seat...and it started! muahaha...ate lots of stuff there...deep fried prawn dumplings, siu mai, ha kao, ha kao with veg, pork ribs with bean paste, carrot cake, spring roll...that was the round one, two and three menu...time out...lets describe some of the food here...the siu mai was quite nice...got prawn used...got the QQ texture...then both ha kao was great! real prawns! unlike outside where only other meats except prawn was used...could see the whole prawn in the dumpling! superb! the carrot cake...quite smooth...got lak cheong bits in the carrot cake...added fragrance...hehez...

for the final round, ate mango pudding, chin chow, and cheng teng...must really write about the mango pudding at this point...SUPER NICE! and i really mean it...lots of mango pulp used...creamy and fragrant...with a layer of evaporated milk on top...the authentic mango pudding! haven eaten this type of mango pudding in a long long long......long while! muahaha...the chin chow was also quite nice...not too hard...then the sugar water not too sweet...with more of the chin chow flavour...on the whole a very fulfilling meal for me! luckily din eat lunch...else will not have the space needed to accomodate the food...hehez...so full that i din eat dinner...best right?

enjoyed the day totally...very fulfilling for the mind and appetite...had lots of fun...
